Anyone who has taken a family trip out on the water knows it is not always smooth sailing, between loading up, managing gear, keeping an eye on everyone, and navigating dockings, it takes real work. But then comes that brief, magic window where everything settles, the engine cuts off, and everybody is just present together.
 
Making Memories was painted from that exact moment: drifting peacefully in a boat through calm, open marshlands. The water was so still it turned into a giant mirror, carrying soft peach hues and warm evening light across the surface. That seamless reflection creates a visual escape, a quiet space to catch your breath and take in the simple joy of being together.
